Business Development Associate
Develop Link is a for-profit, social-impact company piloted in Guatemala. Our goal is (1) to help doctors make referrals and consultations so that they can better treat patients (2) collect critical health data that can be used to improve interventions and sales of medical devices, equipment, and medications.
The primary goal of this role is to manage and improve business development for Guatemala so that more doctors use the platform. Specific activities include:
Creating sales plans to find doctors to use the platform
Implementing sales plans and visiting doctors throughout the city and all of the country to sign them up
Following-up and motivating doctors to use the platform regularly
Establishing relationships with heads of hospitals and other leadership officials for formal endorsement
Identifying and targeting new opportunities for doctors to use the platform
Hit monthly targets of doctor sign-ups
Hit monthly targets of referrals made/user engagement metrics
Travel up to an average of 3 days a week to different cities in Guatemala
Maintain daily communications with Catherine
Base salary with commission opportunities
Extra in salary if you have a good car (small SUV, SUV, pick-up etc.) that can be used to travel (gas will be covered).
This is a 3 month contract with the possibility of becoming a full time opportunity
Native Spanish, conversational English
At least 2 years professional experience ideally in sales
Ability to travel up to 80% of the week
Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong sales skills
Experience in healthcare, sales, business development a plus
