NetSquared – Local Group – Guatemala – First event in Campus TEC

NetSquared is a nonprofit organization focused on the intersection of technology and social impact, and the entrepreneurs and innovators around the world who work in that intersection. It provides a Community Blog where anyone can share projects or ideas. It also hosts innovation competitions throughout the year. The NetSquared Local groups, like the one  in Campus TEC in Guatemala, help bring local communities together offline to find out about the work happening locally, share ideas, learn together, and collaborate.

On March 24th,  the Guatemala  area Web innovators and social change agents for conversation and learning met at Campus TEC with  ASESORESTIC and special guest, FUNTEC to talk about:  Use of Technology in Education. This was the first event and launching of the local Netsquared group in Guatemala.

Mario Torres from ASESORESTIC shared his views about the topic with the participants.  Please look at the presentation and photos in the following link: http://www.meetup.com/Guatemala-NetSquared-Meetup/

Campus TEC is now the local chapter for Guatemala for the l NetSquared events that are held monthly and are part of NetSquared’s global work (http://netsquared.org).
