TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT
The Technical Solutions Architect advises on, and makes decisions regarding the overall technical direction of a project to provide a sound technical solution. These solutions may be a combination of network technologies such as IPv6, wireless, Ethernet, as well as information technologies such as operating systems, databases, programming languages, design approaches, middleware, software packages and components. This position requires deep and broad network solution development experience coupled with strong conceptual design and communications skills.
This role is also responsible for conducting network architecture design, feasibility assessments, and modeling requirements and
translating the requirements and objectives into final product design including the ability to present multiple deployment options.
Qualifications:
•BA or BS in Computer Information Science or other technical degree with a minimum of 10 years related experience
•Demonstrated experience in designing technically complex network solutions or network enhancements with a successful implementation track record
•Understanding of design techniques and proven experience with multiple types of networks and network applications technologies
•Experience demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of network design principles, methodology’s, tools and techniques
•Ability to design and develop technical solutions that satisfy business requirements for function, performance, security, and maintainability
•Demonstrated oral and written communication skills are required, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
